August 14-16 Brockville - Thousand Island Kennel and Obedience Club (TIKO)

NEW CHAMPION - On Sunday August 16, under respected Judge Doug Windsor, Rosé needing 1 more point for her Canadian Championship, was awarded Winners Bitch, Best of Winnters, and Best of Opposite Sex to give her 3 pts.

Rosé received RWB on the Saturday

This makes the third champion for her damn CH Laureate Rachael Ray from the litter sired by BIS/BPIS AM CAN CH Shelhaven Alaris ROMC

July 26 - Limestone City Obedience and Kennel Club (Kingston)
CH Laureate Lancome finished her show career on the very last day of the Limestone show with a Best of Opposite Sex over quite a few specials this weekend in Kingston. Her proud new parents, The Bedfords, have more bragging to do about her on their upcoming vacation!
July 21 - Valley Kennel Club (Lombardy)

CH Laureate Lancome is her new name. Finally !!!!! L"Annie received 3 pts from respected Judge Margaret Jones. She is now finished her canadian championship at the mature age of 6! She is #29 champion for her sire Ch Laureate Landslide ROMC

You look good girl! Her new Owners, the Bedfords think so too! They have been at ringside the past 2 days.... and captured about 400 pictures of the memorable day!

July 4 and 5 - Chateauguay Valley Kennel Club
TThe first of the 4 Show weekend, Saturday under Respected Judge Bud Haverstock, Rosé goes Winners Female and Best of Opposite Sex for 2 pts.

The Second Show Saturday and third show Sunday, Rosé receives Reserve Winners Bitch.

Then Sunday, show #4, Under respected Judge Charles Cyopik, Rosé also goes Winners Female and Best of Opposite Sex for 2 pts. (Picture will be coming in 2 weeks) - Rosé is standing at 9 pts.

June 27 - Updates on Ruffleith's first Litter's Pedigrees
We have a 4 "tail" generation of ROM's and or ROMC's on both the Sire and Dam's Side of CH Lareate Rachael Ray
June 21 - Kingston District Kennel Club
Under Judge J. Ireland, Rosé was awarded Winner's Bitch (5pts), Best of Winners, Best of Breed Bred By an Exhibitor, Best of Breed over a Special, and then placed 4th in Herding Group
May 24 - Richmond, ON. Ottawa Kennel Club

Needing only 1 point to finish her Canadian Championship, today “Portia” went Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex for 5pts and is now BPIG CH Ruffleith’s Tinta Rufette.

This makes the 2nd home-bred champion from Ch Laureate Rachael Ray’s first litter. This also makes her the 9th champion for her sire BIS BPIS AM/CAN Ch Shelhaven Alaris.

Thank you Brianna for taking over the handling with her while I had Remi in for specials. You presented her very well – especially on the table – which I know you hate to do.

To top everything else today, Ch Ruffleith’s Remy Martin took Best of Breed and Group 2nd.

Many thanks to Judge Cathy Scotton for these wins and for your heart filled critique of both our puppies.

April 12: Portia doesn't pull any stops today.

She goes 1st in Sr. puppy class
Brianna takes her in and gets Winners Bitch

My turn again, and Portia gets Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy in Breed.

She has her first 5 points towards her Canadian Championship - Many thanks to Judge C. Gutierrez-Otero

April 11: Portia receives 1st place in her puppy class

Brianna then handles her to Reserve Winners Female.

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF: Best Puppy in Group! Not bad for the first weekend ever in a Show ring! She was Perfect! Thank you so much Judge G. MacCuaig.

Thank you Kim Aston for doing all the final touches on her to make her look absolutely gorgeous for the group competition. Truly appreciated.

With a few weekends of rest, Rayna and Remi were entered only on Sunday show.

Remi went Winners Dog for 2 pts.... giving him a total of 5 pts thus far. He is half ways there.

Rayna went WB and then BOW for 3 pts - Grand total 10 pts.

Many, thanks to handler Kim Wendling for getting those finishing points. Rayna is now Ch. Laureate Rachael Ray!

Rayna is the 5th Champion for her Dam Laureate Tiramisu - this give Tira her ROMC!! This also makes her the 28th Champion for her sire Ch Laureate Landslie ROMC. (Funny - my birthday's on the 28th?)

Friday March 6 : Reserved Winners Dog (RWD) and Best Puppy In Breed (BPIB) from Respected Judge Frederick Dewsbury. There were 7 puppies competing for this title.

Saturday March 7: Winners Dog (WD) for his first 3 points - Thank you Judge Fred Gordon

Sunday March 8 : RWD

Rayna , also handled by Kim Wendling, tags along not to be outdone by her son. 10 months after having a litter (somewhat out of coat) her results are:

Friday March 6: Reserved Winner's Bitch (RWB)

Sunday March 8: Best of Winners (BW) for a 5 pt win!
(18 Shelties in Total!)

These 2 girls have started their Show Ring Training Wednesday Nights and are doing very well in an indoor environment.

The pups are looking good and are maturing quite nicely... it's time to strut their stuff in the upcoming Show rings this year.
